Virgin Money is supporting Mind and SAMH
Every year, 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem in the UK. And the support that people need isn’t available, with millions on waiting lists for mental health treatments. That’s why Mind and SAMH’s services are more important than ever.
Mind and SAMH (Scottish Action for Mental Health) work across England, Wales and Scotland to make sure everyone gets the mental health support that is right for them - through their helplines, online information, and local services. And by campaigning to improve services, raise awareness and understanding of mental health.
Money is on everyone’s minds more than ever right now. But worrying about finances isn’t good for anyone’s mental health.
That’s why Virgin Money colleagues have chosen to support SAMH and Mind in the fight for mental health from January 2024. Virgin Money will work alongside Mind and SAMH to support anyone affected by mental health problems and money worries and direct them to the vital services the charities provide.
From fundraising to volunteering and more, we’ll do whatever we can to help. All donations to this JustGiving page will be split equally between Mind (charity no. 219830) and Scottish Action for Mental Health (SAMH) (charity no. SC-008897).
Join team Virgin Money to raise vital funds towards Mind and SAMH’s vital services and thank you for your support.

Frequently asked questions
I want to fundraise for both Mind and SAMH – how do I do this?

I want to join a SAMH fundraising event in Scotland – how do I do this?
You can find SAMH fundraising events here.
Once you have a space (or if you already have an event place with SAMH), create a fundraising page just for SAMH here. This means you’ll be fundraising for SAMH directly, since they have organised the event spaces. Your fundraising will still be counted towards the full partnership total!

What is the difference between an individual page and a team page?
An individual page allows you to fundraise and set an individual target for your event. Team pages allow you and your colleagues to join your individual pages together to contribute to an overall total.
